Peter Greenberg

Co-Founder - Builder

Peter Greenberg is a seasoned builder and design-minded contractor with over three decades of experience shaping some of Fairfield County’s most admired homes. As the founder of Able Construction, Peter has earned a reputation for combining practical expertise with a refined eye for architecture, space, and detail — a rare blend that has led to both industry recognition and deep client loyalty.

Peter began his career shortly after college, launching Able Construction with a focus on residential additions and renovations. His passion for the built environment — and his natural leadership — quickly propelled the business into larger commercial and municipal projects, including the landmark restoration of the South Norwalk Railroad Station. But in 1994, Peter returned to his roots with a renewed focus: helping families build beautiful, high-quality new homes.

Since then, Able Construction has completed more than 125 custom homes across Fairfield County, many of which have won awards for excellence in design and construction. Peter’s work has been featured in regional showcases, and his projects reflect a signature mix of timeless style, craftsmanship, and an intuitive understanding of how people live in the spaces he builds.

His appreciation for architecture and design continues to evolve with every project — not just as a builder, but as a creative partner who sees each home as a personal expression of the family it’s built for.

After years of informal collaboration on new home projects, Peter partnered with long-time friend and creative entrepreneur Grant Lyons to launch Westport Renovations by Able Construction. Their shared goal: to create a design-first renovation and construction firm that delivers exceptional quality while making the process feel smooth, honest, and even inspiring. Together, they’re building more than just beautiful homes — they’re building a new standard for what the client experience should be.

Their mission is simple:
To be the most trusted, creative, and dependable partner for clients who want to build the home of their dreams — without losing their minds.

Grant Lyons

Co-Founder - Designer

Grant Lyons is a creative founder and entrepreneur known for launching culture-forward ventures that blend design, technology, and storytelling. With a career spanning media, tech, fashion, and design, Grant’s work reflects a consistent practice: identify what’s coming next, build it with taste, and communicate it with clarity.

A former CMO and brand strategist, Grant has a hands-on approach to everything he builds — from concept to execution. He brings a rare mix of creative vision and operational instinct, capable of shaping a brand’s narrative while also handling the behind-the-scenes realities of growth, team-building, and execution.

Over the years, Grant has co-founded or helped shape Tunespotter – an early AI-powered media discovery platform, Reacha – a map-based mobile app that connects people available now, The Heirloom Sweater by LYONS – a luxury black cashmere sweater designed to last a lifetime, and most recently, Westport Renovations, a high-end renovation firm in Connecticut that reflects his design-first, ultra-dependable philosophy.

Grant is also a partner in Franklin Showroom, a fashion showroom representing top designers to leading retailers like Bergdorf Goodman, Saks, and Bloomingdale’s, as well as online platforms like Rent the Runway, Nuuly, and Shopbop. His involvement in fashion has always centered on helping creators build businesses — not selling direct to consumer, but enabling them to thrive through thoughtful brand positioning, retail strategy, and visual storytelling.

Currently, Grant is also exploring a new frontier through The POPdown NYC, a creative culture hub and stealth incubator platform housed within his Lyons of Scotland universe. Through The POPdown, he’s bringing together emerging products, ideas, and experiences — from fashion to food — and curating pop-up collaborations designed to surprise, connect, and inspire.

Across all his ventures, Grant brings a founder’s mindset and a creative director’s eye. Whether he's designing a sweater, shaping a renovation brand, or building the next cultural concept store, his work is always grounded in culture, taste, and trust.
